Many sincere pursuits of God tend to become influenced, even corrupted, by the surrounding culture. Despite our best intentions, ours did as well. Over time, the nature of our gatherings became too market-driven and self-absorbed. Now, we feel that the Lord has graciously and lovingly corrected us. So, those returning to the IWI will see some changes. Although we will all receive great ministry from the
anointed leaders who guide us, we will be far more focused on the Lord’s Presence than on personalities. And, because we will not be caught up in commercialism or promotion of other purposes and agendas, we will also be able to linger in the embrace of His Presence.
So, come on down to Texas this summer. Spend time with the Lord. You will always be glad you did. As someone else said, “This is not your mama’s IWI.”
