Dance leaders and church leaders are gathering at the IWI from all over the country to dialogue, pray and listen to the Lord concerning the role dance has in worship in the local church. Witness the roundtable discussions between church and dance leaders.

PAMELA RUTHERFORD Danced on Broadway in New York City and has a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from SMU, Dallas, TX. She is the National Co-Coordinator of Christian Dance Fellowship USA, Dance Ministry Coordinator for the National Baptist Congress and teaches dance at Collin County Community College in Texas. She is the founder and director of Set Free Evangelistic Ministries and attends Glory of Zion Outreach Center in Denton, TX.

FREDDIE MOORE Faculty at The Ailey School, Arts Connection, New York, NY as well as Hudson repertory Center for the Performing Arts, Jersey City, NJ. Conducts Artist in Residence Workshops in schools and develops liturgical dance ministries for churches. Featured with artists such as Alvin Slaughter, Paul Wilbur, Israel Houghton, Vickie Winans, Tremaine Hawkins and Don Moen and is a member of Grace Gospel Chapel in New Jersey.

YVONNE PETERS Is a movement artist, choreographer and teacher who has been one of the leading pioneers in Christian Dance Ministry. She was a featured dancer in the (Handel’s) Messiah Project, Springfield, MO; a principal dancer on Integrity’s Sing Out video, led by Ron Kenoly; and choreographer for Integrity’s Arise Jerusalem video, led by Paul Wilbur. She is currently the Principal Choreographer and Dance Director for the Tabernacle Dance Company of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem.

LAMAR BOSCHMAN Dean of the International Worship Institute and publisher of the first book on dance entitled Rejoice, A Biblical Study of the Dance.
